La maison de Rabelais located opposite the entrance to the castle offers throughout the year, its handmade chocolates, pastries and ice cream. For sunny days, take a break on the terrace to enjoy the specialties like guérandais, bittersweet chocolate mousse topped with a heart of caramel ganache with salted, cinnamon, caramel mousse, creme brulee and cinnamon on a background of macaroon Almond. In winter, you sit by the fireplace to enjoy a good homemade hot chocolate or tea to choose from a wide selection.

The restaurant Saint-Nicolas Gourmand, located in the heart of the St-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil wine producing region, symbolises the union between food and drink. To accompany your menu choices, you can choose wines to taste before they are added to tour cellar.
Managed by Sylvie Marney and the chef Didier Marnay, this restaurant offers menus which change with the seasons allowing you to better appreciate the wines you have choosen. Outdoor dining is possible in the summer months (There is also a banquet hall with up to 60 place settings).
